Qualification for
1. One of the three qualifications shall be met:
      (1) Any graduate (including those who will graduate in the current school year) who majored Korean Language and Culture in a college or university in Taiwan or took 18 credits or more of Korean language, literature, or culture and received GPA higher than 75.
      (2) Any BA holder of a college or university in Taiwan (including those who will graduate in the current school year) who passed Level 4 and up of TOPIK II.
      (3) Any degree holders (including those who will graduate in the current school year) issued by international academic institutes with the approval of the Chairperson of the Department/Graduate Institute before registration to the entrance exam.
2. Those with only an equivalent educational level without a degree are not accepted.
Additional Information Required
 1. One original copy and one duplicate copy of academic transcripts.
 2. One copy of study plan.
 3. One copy of research papers on Korean linguistics, literature or culture (5000 words and up);
 4. One copy of an autobiography。
 5. One copy of a language proficiency test (including second foreign languages) or other beneficiary information for qualification screening

Exam Items and Percentage

Oral Exam
Qualification  1. According to the result of written test, up to 6 examinees are selected for the oral exam.                                                                 
 2. The oral exam shall be taken in Korean.

Other Requirements  1. The list of those accepted in the oral exam and relevant information will be announced on the Department website.
 2. Students enrolled in the MA program who fail to pass Level 6 of TOPIK II are not eligible for graduation.
